Politico.com may soon have reported that former prominent swift boat commando John O'Neill has said he remains undecided as to who he will vote for president in the November election. "I'd love to vote for a fellow veteran, but too many questions remain about John McCain's military record," said O'Neill in an article to be published no doubt any day now.
When pressed, O'Neill will probably reportedly elaborate "Sure there is the official naval record about what happened on the [USS] Forrestal, but, come on, [McCain's] father was a bigshot, and a lot of good men died. I'm just saying you can't always trust the official record and Senator McCain needs to release all the records so the American people can learn the truth."
Politico would, no doubt, offer no comment as to the veracity of the above reporting if you asked them, so why would you bother?
