In my effort to be fair & balanced when reporting on the upcoming presidential election, I have embarked on a journey of discovery through the internet to learn more about presidential candidate and maverick war hero, John Nancy McCain. Here are some things I learned about the media's latest presumptive president McCain from some really great conservative websites:
early life and education
McCain is the son and grandson of accomplished naval admirals.
McCain was a terrible student and a trouble maker at the naval acadamy, graduating at the bottom of his class.
Despite his lack of credentials, McCain was awarded a postion at the prestigous naval flight school in Pensacola, Florida.
naval career
McCain was reportedly responsible for the deaths of 167 crewman on the USS Forrestal when he ignited his engine on the deck causing a rocket to be fired from an adjacent jet.
McCain was transferred from the Forrestal and while on a mission from USS Oriskany, McCain was shot down and captured by the viet cong.
It has been suggested that in his time as a prisoner of war, or P.O.W. , at the Hanoi Hilton, McCain shared military secrets with the viet cong, giving them the strategic advantage which they eventually used to win the war.
McCain was an incompetent pilot who lost 5 jets in his short naval career.
McCain was assigned to Washington as Navy liason to congress, where he made connections with members of the senate foreign relations committee.
McCain was an chronically adulterous alcoholic, a circumstance ignored by the Navy on account of the position of his father and grandfather.
congressional career
McCain abandoned his wife and family in favor of former USC cheerleader and alcohol heiress, Cindy Hensley.
Shortly after marrying Hensley, McCain retired from the Navy, moved to Arizona, and won a seat in the us house of representatives. His campaign was largely bankrolled by his new father in law, James Hensley, and criminal savings and loan proprietor, Charles Keating Jr.
In the congress, McCain opposed the creation of a national holiday in honor of famous communist firebrand Martin Luther King Jr.
After two terms in the house, McCain won the senate seat vacated by american hero Barry Goldwater.
In the senate, McCain was implicated in a democratic witchhunt for his ties to Keating.
To this day, McCain is widely known as a maverick in the senate who supports such controversial legislation as "Shamnesty" and "We Should(n't) Torture."
personal life
McCain fathered a secret muslim baby.
McCain is widely known as a hothead who will make a scene when not immediately seated at restaurants.
While staying at the Hanoi Hilton, McCain reportedly promised to one day take charge of America and hand over Her reigns to his asian communist overlords.
This is just a small sampling of the facts i discovered on my journey. I hope i've helped you, in some small way, to fulfill your sacred duty as citizens.
